Analytical Psychology and Weltanschauung (C. G. Jung, 1928).

[MR006] Kobol Electronics - Computer Pervaded Society LP

An entity created through the trans-oceanic mixture of Detroit techno and early 80's European electro, Kobol Electronics combines electronic experimentation and convincing 4/4 rhythms, without samples or virtual synths. Just pure analogue synthesis. 'Computer Pervaded Society' is a first solo-work, and a concept album about information technology, analysing the deep social mutations caused by the diffusion of the Internet and the inexorable digitalization of interpersonal communications.
A project initiated in 1997, it only became fully shaped five years later, after the death of James M. Stinson, from whom the work was inspired.
A decade after conception it is now released on MinimalRome.

The LP comes with a custom-made cover, folded in a plastic bag.

[MR005] VV.AA. - MinimalRome "Broken Pots Hill volume 3" LP

A concept LP featuring seven Rome-based producers and different styles ranging from electro to acid techno to ebm and nu disco, all glued by the rough sound of analogue synthesizers and drum machines.
Record’s title is the English translation of Monte dei Cocci, an ancient man-made hill (I-III a.C.) formed by crockery, mostly fragments of - 25 millions, some say - amphoras… as the Coliseum is a symbol of the Imperial Rome, the Hill represents someway the popular, proletarian side of the city.

Record comes with a 30x30 cm full color carton insert
and a b/w info sheet (printable pdf).

"Urbi et Orbi" means “to the city and to the world” and represents a joint collaboration between MinimalRome artists and foreign producers. Two from the northern Europe in this case.
